Indecent Exposure
When there is no big game or birds to photograph there are always monkeys and monkeys never fail to entertain. After sweating it out for an hour and a half in the mangroves at Kuala Selangor with nothing to show for it we were more than happy to bump into a troop of Long Tailed Macaques frolicking in the pathway. They were not at all fussed about our being there and carried on enjoying their time in the early morning sun. While the adults groomed themselves in small groups the youngsters were busy playing at being naughty youngsters.
As usual the youngsters were particularly boisterous. Rolling around, jumping on and over each other and generally being mischievous. This activity provided a good source of shots of typical family life.
Just as things were becoming a little boring an adult decided it was time to educate the rest of the pack on the basics of species procreation and got down to business right in the middle of the troop and in the center of the path.
Not being one to miss some X rated activity, I had to at least take a few shots!
